Report: Payton II's failed physical could ruin major four-way deal

Gary Payton II, the Golden State Warriors‘ latest acquisition, has reportedly failed a bodily examination, placing the four-team deal he was central to in “severe jeopardy,” per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The Warriors despatched James Wiseman to the Detroit Pistons, who dealt Saddiq Bey to the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta’s Kevin Knox and 5 second-round picks ended up with the Portland Trail Blazers. For now.
