Our much-desired Olympic Games will be held in Paris this year and around 320,000 people will participate in the opening ceremony, so many security arrangements have been made for the opening ceremony.

“We have backup scenarios for the opening ceremony, we have plans B and C. To be honest, we have a plan in which the ceremony will be limited to the Trocadero or even the Stade de France,” Macron said on RMC radio 100 days before the opening of the Olympics.

“We have allocated funds for security, in particular for intelligence resources. We will create a secure perimeter around the ceremony site in a few days, even in a few weeks. There are always risks in life, but the security perimeter will be very wide. We will screen everyone entering and leaving, eight days before that we will completely cordon off the territory,” the head of state added.

This year’s Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.

Darmanen told LCI. Said on the TV channel, “We examined 180 thousand people, we did not allow 800 people (to participate in the Games – Ed.), 15 of whom are on the list of people posing a threat to national security. We Also checked 200 thousand employees of private security companies who will protect the stadiums, fan zones… 102 people (who were posing a threat to national security, were not given entry – Ed.),”

Darmanan said that among those excluded were Islamists and radical environmental activists who “clearly had bad intentions.”

“Against the backdrop of terrorist threats French intelligence services have recommended changing the format of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games to be held on the River Seine in Paris.” Radio station Europe 1 reported.
