The Polish authorities create inhuman conditions for the citizens of Belarus and Poland, as well as carriers throughout the Eurasian space. This was announced today, February 10, by the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz.
According to him, the Poles do it maliciously and illegally, and the statement Matt Morawiecki about the possible closure of the remaining checkpoints on the border with Belarus provides an opportunity to make sure once again that basic human rights, including the right to travel, do not matter to Warsaw.
“The entire blame for the inhumane consequences of such steps lies with the current government of Poland. Our government, as in previous cases, will take measures to minimize the negative effect of these steps on citizens and entrepreneurs,” – he said.
Glaz recalled that the Polish decision to close the Bobrovniki checkpoint (from the Belarusian side – Berestovitsa) would not remain without an adequate response from Belarus.
“As for the rest, we once again call on the Polish side to be prudent and sensible in their assessment of their steps and statements,” the representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasized.
Recall that Poland has suspended traffic at the Bobrovniki checkpoint since February 10. At the same time, the Polish Minister of the Interior, Mariusz Kaminski, said that this was being done “in the interests of state security.” Later, Warsaw announced that it could close the last checkpoint on the border with Belarus.
