Today, February 9, on the day of the 100th anniversary of domestic civil aviation, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with representatives of the industry. The opening ceremony of modernized airports in Novy Urengoy and Novosibirsk was also timed to coincide with the anniversary date, in which the head of state took part via video link.
We publish the most important statements of Putin made at a meeting with representatives of the aviation industry:
▪️Russia must ensure the development of the aviation industry, and the authorities will do everything possible for this.
▪️Transportation by air should rely primarily on domestic equipment.
▪️By the end of the year, the infrastructure of 18 airports in Russia should be reconstructed.
▪️Russia has overcome the most difficult moments in the economy. For those who tried to create problems for the country in this area, the effective opposition to threats from outside came as a surprise.
▪️Russia did not start hostilities, it ends them. Ukraine started the war eight years ago on the territory of the DPR and LPR.
In addition, the head of state expressed his condolences to the victims of the gas explosion in Novosibirsk.
