Biden promised Xi Jinping to stop investing in China if he supported Russia’s special operation

President of the U.S.A Joe Biden threatened the chairman of China Xi Jinping stop Western investment in the Chinese economy if Beijing supports Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.

The American leader announced this on February 8 to the PBS television channel. Biden said that in the summer of 2022, he had a telephone conversation with the Chinese chairman and reminded Xi Jinping that about 600 American companies, including McDonald’s and Exxon, left Russia.

At the same time, the US President pointed out to his interlocutor that his words were not a threat, but were a simple observation. Biden added that he still expected China to support the special operation, but this did not happen.

As reported IA REGNUMFebruary 1 official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that the West will soon launch an information attack against China and is already preparing for its implementation.
