The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) called “open robbery” the adoption by Kiev of a resolution regulating the sale of confiscated Russian assets and property.
In the commentary of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, published on the website of the Foreign Ministry, it is emphasized that in this the Kiev regime is ahead of even its Western mentors, “who are trying in vain to come up with some kind of legal formula for appropriating Russian property.”
The diplomat stressed that the unlawfulness of their own actions has never embarrassed the Kiev regime, and it has someone to look up to. According to Zakharova, Nazi Germany did not care about the topic of legality. “Today, the regime of V. Zelensky operates in the same way,” she pointed out.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed confidence that even a small part of the stolen funds will not go to the needs of ordinary Ukrainians.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced on his Telegram channel that the government would sell confiscated Russian assets at auctions. “Today they approved a regulation regulating their sale,” he said on February 10.
