Regular consumption of sweet coffee has a beneficial effect on human health, scientists from the Southern Medical University in Guangzhou found.
The researchers analyzed patient data from the UK Biobank and came to an important conclusion. As it turned out, people who consumed unsweetened coffee for seven years had a 16-21% lower risk of early death.
And those who drank from one to those cups of sweet coffee a day had a 29-31% lower risk of dying from various diseases. Participants in the experiment added one teaspoon of sugar to a cup of drink. The results of scientific work are published in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine.
