Tons of cucumbers were brought to the Perm Territory for sale in retail chains. Earlier, the media wrote that there was a shortage of fresh cucumbers in Perm – now they will again appear on the shelves. This was reported in the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Kirov region, the Udmurt Republic and the Perm region.

“On February 2, 10 tons of vegetables and fruits were shipped to the territory of the fruit and vegetable warehouse in Perm: cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, pomegranates, lemons, peppers, Chinese lettuce. The origin of products is Krasnodar, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Bryansk and Azerbaijan. A quarantine phytosanitary inspection was carried out,” the press service said.

According to the results of laboratory analysis, no quarantine pests were found in the imported products. Therefore, acts of quarantine control were issued, giving the right to use vegetables for their intended purpose. Now they will be implemented in retail chains.

Earlier, URA.RU reported that there was a shortage of green onions in Perm stores. There are also problems with its freshness on the shelves.
