In the Khabarovsk Territory, they found the body of a dead hunter, next to which they found traces similar to tiger ones. This was reported in the administration of the Sovetsko-Gavansky district of the region.
They explained that the deceased man specially came to the settlement to hunt. Relatives began to look for him after he did not get in touch.
“The remains of a man were found near the settlement of Nelma in the southern part of the region, traces similar to tiger ones were found nearby. A hunter, a resident of Sakhalin, died, ”said local officials.
There is no permanent settlement in Nelma, but there are several winter quarters where hunters live. The only way to get to it in winter is by air.
Meanwhile, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Khadeev told Parliamentary Newspaper that the damage caused by hunting enthusiasts to the living world in 2019-2021 amounted to 79.8 million rubles. At the same time, 193 people died from injuries due to violations of the rules and injuries. The politician noted that at the moment, penalties for violations of hunting rules remain extremely low and incommensurate with the damage.
Earlier, republican deputies submitted to the State Duma a draft law on amendments to the federal Code of Administrative Offenses, according to which such violations were proposed to be fined in the amount of two to four thousand rubles or to be deprived of the right to hunt for a period of one to two years.
