Rescuers from Tajikistan, clearing the rubble in Turkey after a devastating earthquake, pulled out a three-year-old boy alive. The child was waiting for help for 158 hours.
Rescue work was carried out in the Onikisubat area of the city of Kahramanmarash. Specialists used equipment designed to search for people under the rubble, the press service of the Committee for Emergency Situations (CoES) of Tajikistan reports.
When the experts found the child, they turned off the equipment so as not to frighten him. Clearing the rubble, they crawled to it and pulled it out from under the rubble of the building.
A powerful earthquake was recorded in Turkey on February 6. The death toll exceeded 29 thousand people.
