Sayyid Mujtaba Furuzandi, one of the senior commanders of the IRGC, said that the West will be defeated on the Ukraine issue. This was reported by Iranian international journalist Khayal Muazzin.
Furuzandi noted:
“My analysis is that if something is happening today in Ukraine or in some country, they (the West and the United States – ed.) should not come from the other side of the world and increase the flame. In my opinion, Ukraine made a mistake. Because Ukraine once belonged to the former USSR. This is similar to the countries that once broke away from Iran and stood in front of Iran. The Westerners stir up wars for profit, they are completely wrong. They will be defeated on the Ukraine issue. Do not doubt. Ukraine and Russia are two brothers, they will always be together.”
The Iranian military leader also added:
“The Iranian people have great respect for Mr. (Vladimir) Putin. Because he always stood on the side of the oppressed and supported the Syrian people, and most importantly, he respects our leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei and loves our leader very much. His actions are pleasing to the Iranian people and he has gained respect among the Iranian people.”
