A prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who attended a lecture by the chairman of the “Young Guard of United Russia” Anton Demidov in the penal colony of the DPR, said that he considers the events taking place in his country and the attempt of other states to interfere in the “Slavic world” wrong.
“What is happening at the moment in the world, in the country – this is very wrong, as I think, because I know how other countries are trying to get into our “Slavic world”, scold our peoples and, therefore, all this nationalist enmity that is happening – we just want to get rid of it all, – said the prisoner of war in the video, published in the telegram channel MGER.
Chairman of the MGER Demidov explained that the purpose of the meeting was to remind about the unity of peoples, about common history, including the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which was forged by grandfathers and great-grandfathers in the fight against Nazism. He also told the prisoners of war about the humanitarian mission of the “Young Guard” and “Volunteer Company” in the new Russian territories.
As a result of the educational lectures, the former fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed their readiness to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and contribute to the fight against Nazism.
