The prosecutor’s office took control of establishing the causes of the fire in Moscow City

Moscow, February 12, 2023, 20:40 — REGNUM Establishing the causes of the fire in one of the buildings under construction in Moscow City was taken under control by the Moscow prosecutor’s office. Recall that the fire occurred on February 12 on the fourth floor of a 50-story tower. It is believed that building materials were on fire. The fire has now been contained.

“The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office controls the establishment of the circumstances and causes of the fire in a building under construction on 1st Krasnogvardeisky Boulevard. <…> If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken”— reported in the supervisory department.

It is also clarified that during the inspection of the prosecutor’s office, compliance with the requirements of fire safety legislation will be assessed.
