Abu Dhabi, 12 February. CAR President Faustin-Archange Touadera arrived in Dubai for the Global Governance Summit.
On the eve of it, the leader of the Central African Republic signed a memorandum on the exchange of experience, joint development and modernization with the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
The Government of the Central African Republic is actively expanding partnerships with the states of the Black Continent. A few days earlier, Faustin-Archange Touadera met with his colleagues from Chad and Angola, Mahamat Idris Deby Itno and João Lourenço, respectively.
In addition, the President of the Central African Republic accepted an invitation to the Russia-Africa summit, which will be held from July 26-29, 2023. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, he will be replaced at the conference by Prime Minister Abdoulaye Diop.
Earlier, the DRC authorities donated medicines worth more than one and a half billion CFA francs to the republic. According to representatives of the two countries, this is the result of joint work on the development of cooperation.
