Oncology can occur as a result of uncontrolled intake of dietary supplements (BAA). This opinion was reached by the chief freelance oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMITs Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Kaprin.
“Very interesting data have also appeared that uncontrolled intake of dietary supplements can affect the development of cancer, we will still have to analyze these data,” Kaprin said in an interview with RIA Novosti. Among other risk factors, he named overweight, smoking and alcohol, and red meat.
Oncologist Ivan Karasev drew attention to the fact that cancerous tumors can be caused by frequent consumption of spoiled food. People often trim the moldy edges of foods and eat what’s left whole, or heat treat such foods. According to the oncologist, these measures do not make spoiled food safe.
