From February 10 to 12, American fighter jets shot down three unidentified objects – two in US airspace, one in Canadian skies. The authorities have not yet officially disclosed what these objects were. Their search continues. The incidents occurred about a week after a Chinese balloon was shot down over South Carolina. The Pentagon believes that Beijing has been monitoring American strategic facilities. China claims that the device entered US airspace by accident and was intended for meteorological purposes.
