The Ministry of Health has developed criteria for providing medical care to patients with hepatitis C within the framework of compulsory medical insurance. The corresponding draft order is published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
We are talking about medical care provided to patients in a hospital and day hospital, follows from the document. The criteria were developed as part of the program of state guarantees of free provision of medical care to citizens for 2023 and for the planned period of 2024 and 2025,
Thus, in the format of a day hospital, it is proposed to provide assistance in various forms of chronic viral hepatitis C, and in places of long-term stay – in acute conditions, the risks of developing decompensation of liver cirrhosis, identifying clinically significant extrahepatic manifestations, conducting diagnostic measures and developing acute liver failure.
The Ministry of Health hopes that this procedure will allow more patients to be treated.
