Slovak Defense Minister Nagy urged to supply fighter jets to Ukraine

Ukraine should receive fighter jets from Slovakia, which allegedly does not currently use its combat aircraft in any way, said the Slovak defense minister Yaroslav Nagyreports Reuters.




In his opinion, Bratislava has two options: sell its combat vehicles or send them to Kyiv. Nagy believes that the fighters will certainly help Ukraine.

At the same time, the minister stressed that no decision has been made on this issue yet.

As reported IA REGNUMOn February 9, the online publication Teraz spread the information that the Prime Minister of Slovakia Edward Heger at a meeting with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky promised to transfer Slovak MiG-29 fighters to Kyiv.
