The Ministry of Construction proposed to include Russian furniture in the mortgage

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Irek Fayzullin addressed the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the initiative to include the furnishing of apartments in the mortgage. He made the corresponding statement at the meeting.

The head of the Ministry of Construction noted that in order to support the Russians and develop the timber industry, it is necessary to support the initiative to purchase Russian-made furniture at the expense of mortgage funds. The approach will reduce its cost by including mortgages in the amount, and will also provide additional demand for domestic products.

The Ministry of Construction previously reported that, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, it was developing a concept for selling furnished primary housing on a mortgage. Discounts will be up to 30 percent.
