“We have an average of 400 people across the country per sports facility. There are leaders – these are the Tambov and Belgorod regions, in which there are approximately 200-250 people per facility. It is noteworthy that the Moscow region also fell into the top ten lagging regions in terms of the provision of sports infrastructure, where there are almost 600 people per sports facility.
Ms. Istyagina-Eliseeva also provided data on the funds allocated to the regions for the development of physical culture and sports: “The Magadan region is the absolute leader, they spend 19,260 rubles. per inhabitant.
