Investigators dropped the criminal case into a fire in January of this year in Kamyshlov (Sverdlovsk region), in which three children died. A source familiar with the situation spoke about this.

“The criminal case was dropped due to the fact that the children themselves started the fire inside the wooden house. Even if one of them had survived, they could not have been prosecuted due to their age,” the KP-Ekaterinburg source reports.

The fire occurred on January 11 in a house on Vysokaya Street. As a result of the incident, three boys died – the eldest was 11 years old, the middle one was nine years old, and the youngest was six. The head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region, Valery Gorelykh, noted that the father went to work in the morning, and the mother was in the maternity hospital.
