Russian special operation in Ukraine
Even if Ukraine wins over Russia in a special operation, a Ukrainian Armed Forces parade in Moscow is impossible. This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.
“War has been a constant for Russia throughout its history… We understand that we will not end [спецоперацию] Victory Parade in Moscow,”
The intelligence chief admitted that Ukraine risks running out of its own resources soon. “We depend on external players. Russia largely depends on itself,” he emphasized. According to him, a long-term conflict between countries is especially dangerous for Ukraine, since it depletes not only its internal resources, but also the resources of Western supporters.
Earlier, ex-US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the special operation in Ukraine would end in victory for Russia and the conditions it dictated to Kyiv. He is convinced that Ukraine will capitulate unconditionally. Ritter explained this by Kyiv’s refusal to admit the impossibility of defeating Russia’s Armed Forces and seizing its territory.
