The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin: “Denazification will be fixed doctrinally”

How is life in the region in which hostilities have been going on for more than a year? The once rich and independent Donetsk, despite constant shelling and sabotage, not only continues to survive, but also develops. A city where water is supplied once every three days for only two hours, but ordinary apartments cost an average of 60 thousand dollars. At the same time, the commissioning of the Don-Donetsk water utility under construction is scheduled for April 1. The head of the region recalled the large-scale assistance of all federal departments and the lack of housing even for builders, the many programs that are now being actively created and integrating the republic into the economic and social sphere, that help comes from government officials, business and volunteers from all over Russia.

Among the large number of political and economic issues that the leadership of the region has to solve, the head of the republic announced the creation of a special center on the basis of Donetsk National University, which will be engaged in the formation of the doctrinal component of the concepts of demilitarization and denazification. This decision was supported by the president, the acting head of the DPR noted.

— Denazification needs to be deciphered, because some people either misunderstand or perceive it in their own way and, accordingly, lay down different meanings. Everything should be clearly spelled out, discussions should be held at the appropriate sites. In the end, what will we call victory? A common understanding should appear in Russian society. It is also necessary for those countries that support us and think about what will follow the liberation of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, – Pushilin said.

According to him, if we do not solve this issue, which is now worrying many – the liberation of all Ukraine, stop it, freeze it, then we will only dump the solution of the problem of Russia’s security on the shoulders of the next generation. Pushilin admits that the discussion, in his personal opinion, leads to only one way out – holding a new Yalta conference, which will determine the new world order, but this requires prerequisites – the complete liberation of Ukraine.

— Now we need to create such prerequisites from the outset for such a conference. Where will it be – in Donetsk, in Sevastopol, for example … In another way, I do not see how this situation can be rolled back. The degree is too high for it to end on its own, – Pushilin said.

There are almost a couple of weeks left before the February dates – the anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the DPR and LPR and the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. Much has been experienced and passed over this year, and now it will be rethought, Pushilin is sure.
