The head of the district in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was sentenced to four years in prison

The head of the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Natalya Ganina, was sentenced to four years in a penal colony. She was found guilty of exceeding official powers when signing the act of acceptance of a kindergarten and a school built under the Education national project.

According to the investigation, at the end of 2019, Ganina independently signed the act of acceptance of the educational center in the village of Zeledeevo. The quality of technical work did not meet the requirements. No property review has been carried out.

The official was charged under article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of power). According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Ganina was sentenced to four years in prison to be served in a penal colony with deprivation of the right to hold positions in the civil service and in local governments for two years.
