The daughter-in-law of the Chelyabinsk ex-governor is forced to return her husband’s exclusive Mercedes-Benz

In the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region, creditors demand that the daughter-in-law of the ex-governor Boris Dubrovsky, Irina, return the exclusive Mercedes-Benz AMG GT to her ex-husband Alexander Dubrovsky, the son of the former head of the region. This is stated in the statement of claim on the website of the court.

“The bankruptcy creditor Credendo – Ingosstrakh Credit Insurance LLC asks to invalidate the deal for the alienation of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT car with an engine power of 367 hp. s., committed on August 5, 2020 between Irina and Alexander Dubrovsky. As a consequence of the invalidity of the transaction, return the car to the ownership of Alexander Dubrovsky, ”it follows from the court documents.

In the showrooms of the German concern, the cost of a sports Mercedes-Benz AMG GT starts from 15 million rubles. AMG is a division of Mercedes-Benz that specializes in tuning and produces exclusive handcrafted vehicles with enhanced performance.

Creditors believe that due to the alienation of property, the size of the bankruptcy estate was reduced, at the expense of which their financial claims could be satisfied. The court also granted the petition of Credendo-Ingosstrakh LLC for interim measures and seized the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT.

A court session on this case in the Arbitration Court of the region is scheduled for March 22. On it, Irina Dubrovskaya, or her representative, can state their objections. She herself became one of the creditors because of her ex-husband’s alimony debts.

Earlier, the Arbitration Court seized the cottage and plot of Irina Dubrovskaya, as well as the Porsche Carrera, owned by Anna, the daughter of ex-governor Boris Dubrovsky. Creditors believe that this is how the Dubrovsky family is trying to exclude joint property from the bankruptcy estate to pay off debts.

The court declared the son of the ex-governor of the Chelyabinsk region bankrupt in January 2022. Before bankruptcy, Alexander Dubrovsky filed a bankruptcy petition with the court due to a debt of 274.1 million rubles.
