The Ministry of Health has developed a procedure for the transfer of personal medical assistants to citizens for remote monitoring of health on the platform of the same name. The draft act of the department is published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
As Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote, on December 23, a government decree came into force regulating the conduct of an experiment to transfer information about the state of health of patients to doctors using special devices – personal medical assistants.
The innovation will allow doctors to remotely monitor the health of people with chronic diseases. At the first stage – hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Fitness bracelets, smart watches, and glucometers will provide information to medical information systems.
The draft prepared by the Ministry, in particular, establishes the procedure for:
- transfer from a medical organization to a patient of products intended for remote monitoring of health;
- the safe use of such products;
- their maintenance and verification, including a standard form of a civil law contract, which is concluded with a citizen when transferring such products as part of the pilot project “Personal Medical Assistants”.
The regulation, in particular, establishes that when transferring an assistant to a citizen, the attending physician conducts the necessary instruction on how to use it. At the same time, if a citizen submits an application for malfunctions, the attending physician and an authorized specialist will be required to consider it within three days.
