The amount of frozen Russian assets in a large Swiss bank has been calculated

Bank Credit Suisse, one of the largest in Switzerland, has frozen Russian assets totaling 17.6 billion francs. These funds are like informs the Readovka telegram channel is owned by both the state and private investors from Russia.

EADaily clarifies that 17.6 billion Swiss francs in terms of dollars is about 19 billion.

Earlier, the media reported on the freezing in Swiss banks of only 7.5 billion francs or 8 billion dollars. But the real amount was much higher. Of the total, only 4 billion francs belong to persons who fell under the sanctions imposed by Switzerland. The rest are blocked due to the sanctions of unfriendly states.
