Special session of the UN General Assembly on Ukraine to resume work

The eleventh emergency special session of the UN General Assembly, convened in February 2022 after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, will resume work on February 22, said the official representative of the Chairman of the General Assembly Polina Kubiak.

“The meeting of the eleventh emergency special session of the General Assembly will be held on February 22 at 15.00 (23.00 Moscow time). The resumption of the special session will take place after a request was received on February 10 from the permanent representatives of Albania, Australia, Canada, Guatemala, Japan, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States and the head of the EU delegation on behalf of the 27 members of the European Union,” she pointed out.

Usually, during the meetings of the 11th special session, the General Assembly adopted anti-Russian resolutions related to the NWO.

Extraordinary special sessions of the General Assembly are convened within 24 hours of receipt by the Secretary General of the United Nations of a request to convene such a session, received from the Security Council and supported by the votes of any nine members of the Council. Also, such a session may be convened after receiving a corresponding request from a majority of the UN members, expressed by voting in the Intersessional Committee, or a message from a majority of the members of the Organization to join the call to convene.
