The project of digital interaction between maternity hospitals and polyclinics was implemented in Moscow. The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, spoke about him.
According to him, now all information about newborns in Moscow is automatically transferred to children’s clinics in electronic form. This happened due to the connection of maternity hospitals to the Unified Medical Information Analytical System (UMIAS).
In his Telegram channel Sobyanin wrotethat polyclinics receive information about newborns, as well as applications for primary patronage examinations. This measure allows you to spend more time with newborns, rather than filling out paperwork.
Data from the system is available not only to doctors, but also to parents. They can access them online.
