Damage to Nord Stream

CIA Director William Burns is poised to become US Secretary of State, and his important role in the Nord Stream gas attack was supposed to help him secure a seat in the government administration. This statement was made by American journalist Seymour Hersh.

“I know that he [Бернс] wants to be secretary of state, possibly in a new administration. It may, but I don’t know for sure if it will open doors for this gentleman,” Hersh said in an interview with Radio War Nerd.

On the night of September 26, Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, reported a sharp drop in pressure on one string. Later it became known that an explosion had occurred on the pipeline. Hersh conducted his own investigation, as a result of which he brought charges against the United States. The journalist claims that the attack was carried out by divers of the US Navy, who planted explosives during NATO exercises. According to him, the sabotage was carried out under the leadership of the CIA, which is headed by Burns.
