It cannot be said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program buried, however he “is in the intensive care unit.” This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Ryabkov, the parties to the agreement periodically reaffirm their adherence to the basic understandings laid down in it, which helped maintain stability and strengthened, among other things, regional security until the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from it.

“I would not say that the JCPOA is buried, it is in the intensive care unit,” he said during a press conference timed to coincide with the Diplomatic Worker’s Day.

He also expressed the opinion that with regard to the JCPOA, not everything is lost, there is no reasonable and sensible alternative to it.
