The residence permit in Argentina will be revoked from Russian women who received it because they gave birth to a child in this country, but did not stay there. This statement was made by the national director of the migration service, Florencia Carignano.

“What we are doing is suspending the residence permits of those Russians who came to get a residence permit because their child is Argentine,” stated Florencia Carignano to C5N. She noted that this applies to those Russians who did not stay in Argentina, despite having received a residence permit.

The Migration Service of Argentina refused entry to six pregnant Russian women. Argentina argued its refusal by the fact that Russian citizens named the false purpose of the visit. They are located at the Buenos Aires airport. RT.
