Russian business is considering investing in hotels in Cuba

Russian business is considering the possibility of investing in the creation of a new hotel infrastructure in Cuba, Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, told reporters.

Vice Prime Minister Chernyshenko and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Trade and Investments of the Republic of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas held the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Havana.

“Our investors are considering the possibility of investing in the creation of a new hotel infrastructure, since the opportunities for this are unique here, so that Russian citizens can have a year-round opportunity for a beach holiday in a friendly country,” he said following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
