In Russia, developers of components for UAVs will be supported with the help of grants
Moscow, February 13, 2023, 12:36 — REGNUM The Russian government plans to launch a grant support program for the development of components for unmanned aerial systems. This was announced on February 13 by the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Vasily Osmakov during a meeting with manufacturers of drones, which was chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
“The first big task is the development of demand. It includes the opening of new market segments and the removal of excessive restrictions on the use of drones. The second big block is to stimulate the development of mass production of domestic unmanned systems and components”, the government press service quotes him as saying.

According to Osmakov, the program will be launched through the Technological Development Agency. The representative of the ministry added that in order to meet the demand, the forms of the state civil order plan were developed and agreed upon.
In turn, Belousov announced the need to organize specialized education and saturate the industry with personnel. And also about creating a convenient system for certification of drones and ensuring the safety of their use.
