RHOC alum Gretchen Rossi shares videos with late stepson Grayson
Gretchen Rossi focuses on all the good memories she shared with her stepson, Grayson Alexander, who died Sunday at the age of 22.
It was taken by a graduate of “Real Housewives of Orange County.” on Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of videos shot by Grayson’s father, Slade Smiley, along with their daughter, Skyla Gray.
In the emotional videos, Grayson patiently played with the 3-year-old as they sat on his bed.
Although Grayson – who had battled brain cancer for more than 16 years – was connected to a tracheostomy tube, he watched his little sister run around the room with various toys.
“💔 We love you Gray,” Rossi captioned the post, which also included photos of her siblings and her partner of more than 13 years.
Smiley and Rossi – who left “RHOC” in 2013 after four seasons – welcomed Skyla into 2019 after a difficult IVF journey. The little one’s middle name, Gray, is in honor of Grayson.
The tribute comes just one day after the 44-year-old former reality TV star announced the heartbreaking news of his death on Instagram.
“Our rational minds have been telling us that this day might come, but our hearts have always held on to the hope that this day won’t come true 💔,” the post began.
“We are devastated and devastated by the loss of Gray. 😔 Grayson Arroyo-Smiley was a special man. He was an angel on this earth and an incredible fighter… a fighter like no one had ever seen before. He battled pain and discomfort every day to find joy in the smallest things. He always sang, danced and laughed, despite the circumstances.”
Despite the tragedy, Rossi called Grayson “a true beacon of light and hope”, noting that they would be “forever grateful for the many lessons learned from this little man.”
Grayson’s mom and Smiley’s ex-wife, Michelle Arroyo, also confirmed the news on her social media.
