MOSCOW, 10 April – Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government of the Russian Federation to report by September 1 on measures to equalize the income level of residents of Crimea and Sevastopol with the average for Russia, the corresponding assignment published on the Kremlin website.
“The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the state authorities of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, should take a set of measures aimed at gradually reducing the deviation of the income levels of the population of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol from the average for Russia, as well as from the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region. The report is up to September 1, 2023, then once every six months,” the order says.
Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin, head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov and Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev were appointed responsible for the execution of the order.
