The economic results of 2022 will generally be better than according to preliminary calculations. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky during a meeting with Putin reported on the growth of the region’s gross regional product. In response, the Russian leader said that 2022 for Russia as a whole will be better than preliminary calculations.
The Central Bank previously predicted that by the end of 2022, the decline in Russia’s GDP was 2.5 percent. This year, either a recession or economic growth at the level of a percentage is expected.
