The Kanopus-V satellite filmed the aftermath of a series of earthquakes at the airport.
Hatay Airport is located in the Turkish province of the same name. It served the city of Antakya located 25 kilometers away and Iskenderun located 45 kilometers away.
Earlier, Roskosmos informed about the use of forces and means of the Russian space group for remote sensing of the planet at the request of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Russia is providing earthquake-hit Turkey with all possible support within the framework of the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters.
