MOSCOW, 14 Feb — Russian rescuers found a large amount of money under the rubble of a residential building in Turkey, reported press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“When opening another layer of rubble after a devastating earthquake, employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry found a pot filled with $100 bills. The found funds in the amount of $150,000 were handed over to the local police for inventory,” the release says.

Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 struck southeastern Turkey on February 6. According to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, they have become the strongest since 1939. According to the latest data, more than 30 thousand people died, thousands of houses were destroyed.
The tremors, followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt in ten provinces of Turkey and in neighboring countries, of which Syria was severely affected.
