Lenin’s mausoleum and necropolis near the Kremlin wall will be closed to visitors
Moscow, February 13, 2023, 01:48 — REGNUM Visitors will not be able to enter the Mausoleum Lenin and to the necropolis near the Kremlin wall within two months. This was stated on February 12 in the message of the press and public relations department of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
Access to the Lenin Mausoleum and the necropolis near the Kremlin wall will be closed from February 13 to April 15, 2023 due to preventive maintenance. The work is usually carried out every two years and lasts about 1.5-2 months.
Details of preventive work are not disclosed. Prior to this, the Lenin Mausoleum and the necropolis near the Kremlin wall were closed for prevention in 2017, 2019 and 2022.
