Paris hosted the largest protest against NATO and France’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. This was told by the leader of the Patriots party and former MEP Florian Filippo.
“The largest action took place in Paris. In total, there were 25 shares in France,” he said, TASS reports. He said that about 10,000 people took part in the March for Peace in Paris alone. Actions were also held in several other cities of the country.
“No aircraft, no tanks, no missiles for Ukraine! Let’s leave NATO! No to a third world war!” – shouted several hundred people who took part in the Paris action. In one of the social networks, Filippo also posted a video in which you can see how he cuts the flag of the North Atlantic Alliance during a demonstration to show that he is waiting for France to leave NATO.
Filippo has previously said that France should stop supporting the NATO strategy because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the risk of unleashing a third world war. Also, the French were outraged by the request of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to transfer even more weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, France officially supports Kyiv in a special operation. Thus, Paris announced its readiness to transfer Rafale fighters and an additional 12 Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine.
