Kuleba announced on February 24 “great events” that Russia will “remember”

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that on the anniversary of the start of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine – February 23 and 24 – “great events” are expected. He announced decisions on new sanctions against Russia and new arms supplies to Ukraine. According to him, Russia will “remember” these events.

“There will be many important political signals, there will be decisions on sanctions, weapons, there will be symbols of unity, and this will happen at all levels. I will say this: Russia will remember how the world will mark the anniversary of its full-scale aggression against Ukraine,” Mr. Kuleba said in an interview with journalist Vadim Karpyak, his words are quoted by TSN.

On February 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky plans to arrive in New York to speak at a meeting of the UN General Assembly. As Bloomberg reported, citing sources, the G7 countries may impose sanctions on companies from China, Iran and North Korea on February 24 for helping Russia bypass restrictions.
