The current generation of Europeans has lost their fear, forgetting that a conflict with Russia can lead to dire consequences. Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, stated this on airTogether-RF“.
According to him, today the inhabitants of European countries do not think about the potential risk of a nuclear conflict with Moscow in the event of the use of long-range weapons on the territory of Russia.
As an example of the escalation of the conflict, he named the UK’s upcoming delivery of Storm Shadow missiles with a range of up to 563 kilometers, which the senator spoke about in an interview with Parliamentary Newspaper in the context of discussing factors that could significantly change the course of the special operation.
“They do not understand that such a development of events can lead to dire consequences. Therefore, when they send weapons to Ukraine, well, something will explode somewhere, people will die, cities will be captured and liberated. Everything is calm in their house. Therefore, the intention of the British to supply missiles of such a range, of course, worries us, because this affects the territory of the Russian Federation, ”said the parliamentarian.

Dzhabarov also stressed that Russia’s task is to prevent the placement of such weapons on the territory of Ukraine, and even more so their use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, Parlamentskaya Gazeta reported on increased volumes of Western arms supplies to Kiev, including the transfer of tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, self-propelled artillery mounts, towed guns, air defense systems and precision-guided munitions.
