In Tobolsk (Tyumen region), a man beat a 14-year-old teenager because he accidentally scratched his car. A schoolboy was riding a bicycle, lost control and crashed into an expensive foreign car. Eyewitnesses said there was a small scratch on the car.

“In Tobolsk, on Oktyabrskaya Street, a 14-year-old teenager was moving between two cars and at some point lost control, crashed into an expensive foreign car and scratched it. The enraged man pulled over to the side of the road, blocked the passage of the frightened guy and, getting out of the car, began to strike,” reports Komsomolskaya Pravda.

A woman stood up for the boy. She ran up to the man and tried to calm him down. But the driver screamed and continued to beat the teenager. “The driver started swearing at me and berating the boy. He shouted that his car’s coverage cost several hundred thousand rubles, but there was a tiny scratch,” she said.

A source in the law enforcement agencies who arrived at the scene of the accident explained that the cyclist violated traffic rules and provoked the accident. During the investigation, it also became clear that the driver of the foreign car was not in order with his documents.

The boy’s parents said they would not prosecute the man. “We’re even! The son scratched the man’s car, and the man beat our son! But the child will learn a good lesson,” they said.
