Five residents of the Perm region will be tried for drug trafficking. As the investigation established, the defendants were engaged in the distribution of methylephedron in large and especially large sizes, having managed to equip hundreds of hiding places with bookmarks. In total, the group members who were detained last year were charged with 18 episodes of criminal activity.
“Last spring, on one of the streets of Tchaikovsky, state traffic inspectors stopped a car with three men inside. The police had information that drugs could be carried in the vehicle. Law enforcement officers found and seized 250 packaged bundles. In addition, two residents of the Berezovsky district were exposed, acting as an operator and a courier, ”the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Perm Territory reports.
The group operated according to a planned scheme. Their duties included storing bulk lots, packing the drug into single doses and laying out caches for buyers. Banned substances were sold via the Internet, and distributed through caches-mortgages in the territory of the Perm Territory and the Udmurt Republic. In total, the group members managed to equip 445 caches with drugs. Currently, the materials of the criminal case have been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
Earlier, URA.RU said that two Perm residents set up a shop for the manufacture of prohibited substances a hundred meters from the drug control building. The police detained the suspects while transporting mephedrone.
