In Rostov, a “gang of Amazons” was sentenced to terms of up to 25 years in a colony

Members of the “gang of Amazons” who attacked police officers and drivers were sentenced to terms of 24 to 25 years in prison, according to the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on Monday.

It is noted that the court found guilty Inessa and Victoria Tarverdiev, as well as Anastasia and Sergei Sinelnik. According to the totality of crimes, they were sentenced: Inessa and Victoria Tarverdiev in the form of 25 years in a general regime colony, Anastasia Sinelnik – 24 years in a general regime colony and Sergei Sinelnik – 25 years in a strict regime colony.

As explained in the UK, in addition to proven crimes, the gang may be involved in another 16 murders, 4 attempts, 8 robberies, 60 thefts, theft and illegal arms trafficking in the period from 1998 to 2013. According to law enforcement officers, the criminals attacked police officers to steal weapons from them, with which they subsequently attacked citizens in order to seize their property.

Earlier it became known that the FSB, together with the Investigative Committee, stopped the activities of supporters of the Islamic State * (IS) terrorist community, banned in Russia, operating in the Urals and the North Caucasus to send militants to Ukraine and Syria. The organizer of the group was detained, 10 members of the community were arrested, and 8 people were put on the wanted list.
