In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, operatives caught the head of the enterprise’s emergency operation service on a bribe, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. At the same time, the source of the agency in law enforcement agencies claims that the defendant in the case is an employee of the Transneft-Siberia company, who received from the contractor in the form of a bribe more than 200 thousand rubles worth of household appliances, including an iPhone 14 and a robot vacuum cleaner.

“It was established that the defendant, using his official position, did not take measures to stop the technological processes carried out in violation of applicable regulations, which pose a threat to the life and health of employees, for a reward from the contractor,” the police website says. A URA.RU source in the law enforcement agencies of the KhMAO claims that the head of Transneft-Siberia himself chose all the equipment for a bribe and threw it off to pay the contractor, and then took it himself. “The bribe was in the form of an iPhone 14, a steamer robot vacuum cleaner, wireless headphones, a DVR and other household appliances,” the insider reports.
