In Chelyabinsk, from September 19 to 30, trams No. 20 and No. 22 will change routes. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Roads and Transport in the telegram channel.

“Trams No. 20 and No. 22 will temporarily change routes. From 5 a.m. on September 19 to 5 a.m. on September 30, tram traffic is closed on the section: Tram depot No. 1 – Rossiyskaya,” the department’s press service clarified. The turnouts at tram depot No. 1 and the Assembly College are also being changed.

Trams No. 20 will travel from ChMK along Kirov, Karl Marx and Rossiyskaya streets to ChGRES. Trams No. 22 with single cars will travel along Chistopolskaya and Pervaya Pyatiletki streets to tram depot No. 1. Double carriages of this route will run from Chistopolskaya Street along Gorky Street to the final one along Chicherin Street.

Earlier in Chelyabinsk the trolleybus traffic pattern was changed. From September 16 to 5 am on October 16, trolleybus No. 5 was canceled, and trolleybuses No. 2 and No. 16 temporarily changed routes. The reason is the modernization of the contact network on Vorovsky and Blyukhera streets, as well as the repair of tram tracks at the intersection of Sverdlovsky Prospekt and Vorovsky.
