Gas explosion in Novosibirsk
The Ukrainian underground operating on the territory of the Russian Federation may be involved in gas explosions in residential buildings. Igor Nikulin, a microbiologist and former member of the UN Commission on Biological and Chemical Weapons, shared this opinion in an interview with URA.RU.
“Somehow, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, problems with housing and communal services have intensified [участившиеся взрывы газа в жилых домах] in Russia. I think it’s time for us to return the article for sabotage. I believe that the Bandera underground operates in Russia. And it is active,” Igor Nikulin emphasized.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, organizations can use children. “These instructions are distributed on the Internet. They write there – calculate the phone numbers of children in social networks, because many register their accounts there through their phone, call them, say that this is a gas service, that it needs to be checked, ask them to open the burners. And that’s all. The whole entrance blew up,” Nikulin explained.
Gas in a residential five-story building exploded on February 9 in Novosibirsk. According to preliminary data, the cause is a gas leak. According to the regional health ministry, five people died, including a child. In Efremov (Tula region) on February 7, the entrance of a multi-storey building also collapsed due to the explosion of a gas cylinder. There were also several cases of gas explosions in houses in December 2022, for example, on the 4th in Nizhnevartovsk. According to a member of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, the former head of Magnitogorsk (Chelyabinsk region, where an entrance collapsed due to a gas explosion in 2018) Vitaly Bakhmetyev, such incidents leading to the destruction of several floors or entire entrances may not be household character.
