Edinburgh-New York flight makes emergency landing due to wing fire


A Delta Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing in Glasgow after its right wing caught fire during flight.

The aircraft took off from the Scottish Edinburgh to New York. A couple of minutes after takeoff, people on board heard a bang and saw a fire. There was a loud buzz in the cabin.

Emergency services were already waiting for the plane at Glasgow Airport. As a result of the accident, no one was injured.
